My family is the center of my world. My two sons have blessed me with beautiful families. I have a grandson named Landon and a granddaughter named Amelia. My husband and I have been married for 40 years! The influence of my parents of faith, love, hard work, respect, and responsibility follow me daily. My hobbies include, but are not limited to, gardening, bird-watching, photography, reading, and crafting.
They call me Maw Maw San. I think of them when I look at the children of Lisa Park. I think of them when I see a child struggling, excelling, sad, happy, frustrated, tired, or anxious. My hope for them is that they have adults in their educational settings who value them, love them, and keep them safe; and I want the same for our students. I think of my sons and their wives when I talk to parents. I think of myself when I talk to grandparents. My parents taught me plenty, but my children, grandchildren, and students continue to teach me. There is so much to learn, but every little person is worth the effort!
